Dr Paul Humphries is a fully UK accredited Consultant Paediatric Radiologist, registered with the General Medical Council and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists.

Dr Paul Humphries undertook his medical training at the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine, gaining a 1st Class degree in Clinical Immunology and Distinction in Medicine at medical finals.

Paul was appointed to the Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital medical SHO rotation in 1999 and became a member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in 2001.

Paul completed his general radiology training at the Middlesex Hospital /University College Hospital before sub-specialty training at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London in 2005 -2006.

Paul has been a Consultant Paediatric Radiologist since 2006, based at Great Ormond Street Hospital and University College London Hospital.

In addition to general Paediatric Imaging, Paul has a special interest in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound and MRI in inflammatory disorders, the imaging of childhood vascular anomalies, Oncological MRI, Magnetic Resonance Enterography (MRE) and in the imaging of congenital Urogenital disorders.

Paul is an invited lecturer at multiple national and international conferences, continues to publish both original research and book chapters, is an Associate Editor of the BJR and an Editorial Board member for Paediatric Radiology Journal.
